Our Approach

Churches
Global ERFM recognizes that churches are vital in fulfilling the Great Commission. However, evangelism has not been a top priority in many churches for years. To address this, we actively engage with churches to restore evangelism as a central mission.
We do this by:

  • Training Soul-Winners: We work with church leaders to train members who have not been actively involved in evangelism, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to win souls effectively.
  • Customized Evangelism Programs: We help churches develop tailored evangelism strategies suited to their unique contexts and needs. Our movement encourages each church to focus on growing through soul-winning rather than relying on natural growth.
  • Follow-up and Discipleship: After winning souls, we assist churches in organizing discipleship programs to help new converts grow in their faith.
Schools
We believe that the future of evangelism lies in the youth, and schools are an ideal platform for nurturing the next generation of soul-winners. To this end, we partner with educational institutions, from primary schools to universities, to promote evangelism.
Our school-based strategies include:

  • Organized Evangelism Groups: We work with Christian student bodies like GHAFES (Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students) in universities and the Scripture Union (SU) in senior high schools. Teachers who are passionate about evangelism are also involved in leading these initiatives.
  • Evangelism Resources for Students: We provide students with evangelism training materials and SIM cards for communication purposes, enabling them to organize outreach activities within their schools.
  • Targeted Evangelism Efforts: We focus on identifying students who are already saved and motivating them to bring the unsaved to Christ through planned school evangelism events.
Data Collection
Data collection is a cornerstone of our approach, as it helps us track progress and measure the impact of evangelism efforts.
Our data collection efforts include:

  • Churches: We document all churches involved in the movement and track the total number of church members and active soul-winners. This data is reviewed quarterly or annually to measure growth.
  • Schools: Similar efforts are made to track the number of students involved in evangelism, with data gathered from Christian groups and schools.
  • Soul-Winning Statistics: We compile data on the number of souls won each month and calculate the ratio of soul-winners to church or school members. This helps us assess the effectiveness of evangelism programs and make necessary adjustments.
